Repairing Galleries: Work in Progress
Hey gang!
We’ve discovered some script errors in the way some of the social networking buttons were interfering with the Gallery pages, so we’ve disabled those buttons for the time being until the webmaster has time to implement a better fix. If you’re still having trouble seeing images in the galleries, try clearing your internet cache and reloading the page!
Thanks for your interest, and we hope you enjoy the previews! Feel free to reply to this post if you’re still having issues and the webmaster will take a look at it as soon as he can!

Ohayo-Con or Bust! Where you can find Vigilance Press this weekend!
Greetings, True Believers! Vigilance Press publisher James Dawsey (me) will be at this weekend’s Ohayo-Con in Columbus, Ohio! You can find me in the Anime Artist’s Alley sitting next to the incomparable Denise Jones (of Tianxia and Arthur Lives! fame). Come on out, get pictures drawn, or pick up a physical copy of one of our RPG products! I’m also hoping to run some demo games in the Gaming Room, if things work out. I’ll also be happy to answer questions about upcoming products from Vigilance Press (as far as those which have been announced) and to talk gaming and art.
We hope to see you there!
If you’re trying to reach us or leave comments on the website this week/ weekend, keep in mind we’ll be away at the convention. 🙂
Arthur Lives! Fate Edition, Dev Blog #3: Enchantment
Publisher’s Note: Tune in here for our latest Developer’s Blog for Arthur Lives! Fate Edition. Click the link below to hit the books with Jason Tondro and talk about High Concepts and the origins of Arthur Lives!
Welcome to our third dev blog on the development of Arthur Lives! for Fate. I keep forgetting that not everyone knows what AL! is; I’ve been working on it for so long, and talking about it so much, that I presume everyone is sick and tired of it. So here’s the high concept for AL!:
Arthur Lives! is an urban fantasy roleplaying game of occult mystery and cinematic action in which the player characters are modern reincarnations of Arthurian figures.
Everything else is elaboration.
Happy New Years, and a Tianxia Art Sneak Peek!
Greetings, Internet Neighbors, my name is James Dawsey and I am the owner and Publisher at Vigilance Press. The New Year is finally upon us, and I can’t wait to get started with it, but I didn’t want to let this opportunity go by without recognizing everything that we’ve done in 2012. This blog may be a bit longer than my normal posts, and it’s going to be a bit more of a personal letter from me to you, but I hope there is something in here for everyone. I’ll be making some announcements in this letter too, so if you’ll indulge me, I’ll get around to those in a bit.
Otis Frampton comes to Beacon City! METAs Cover Illustration, step by step!
I’m very excited to welcome yet another new artist to the list of incredible talents I’ve had a chance to work with this year!
Otis Frampton, whose artwork has been seen in the satirical animated series “How it Should Have Ended,” has finished the cover illustration for our upcoming Beacon City METAs (Issue 1). Otis has shared the final artwork, but he’s also given me permission to share with you how he tackled each step of the production in picture form! To see all the steps of the project, click the “More” link below and check out the full blog post!
Arthur Lives! Dev Blog #2: Character Creation
Welcome back to our running series of blogs on the development of Arthur Lives! Fate Edition (or ALFE as we call it in my headspace). If you have read or played Fate Core, the process of making a character in AL will be very familiar to you. If you’re coming from another Fate game, you’ll notice a few more differences.
Arthur Lives! Fate Edition Dev Blog: Skill List
With Fate Core in my hands and school out for the semester, I’m up to my elbows in Arthur Lives! Fate Edition. I’d like to use this blog as a place to show how the game is developing, to generate some interest, and to think out loud. Thinking out loud helps me figure out what I want to do, and how to do it better. So, thank you for participating.
